Over the last five years I have painted pictures which describe the delusions I suffered over the thirty five years ago when I was twenty four years old. All eight large canvases were exhibited in October 2004 at the Mexico Gallery. My work for the Raw Arts Festival will concentrate on more recent work which is more general but still of a personal nature. The picture exhibited here is eight feet high and titled ‘The Impossibility of Being Inside the Brain of Someone Living' which refers to the film Being John Malkovich where characters from the film find means to enter John's brain. An impossibility which for me displays the loneliness of our existence.
